Quixotic is a word that some people may think of as a negative descriptor, while others (ourselves included) see it in an opposite light. It is about taking chances and making grand gestures. It’s about romance and thinking for yourself. It’s about living a life less ordinary. Sure it may have a dash of impracticality. It might be filled with whimsy. Carelessness may be sprinkled about. But at the end of the day, it feels right. Sure we all have to pay bills and do laundry, but life is really about the moments shared between people. It is about throwing caution to the wind, stepping out of your comfort zone, and making memories that will last a lifetime. These are moments we aim to capture at your wedding. This is what we want to express to the world through your business’ own unique voice and style. The movies we love, and aim to make, have this feeling at their very core. We take the mundane and make it amazing, take the amazing and make it awe-inspiring, and take the awe-inspiring and make it clear. It’s about people. It’s about telling stories. It’s about time to end this paragraph.
Pictures
The other half of our name may not get as much attention. It might not be as flashy and fanciful. But, without a doubt, it is of equal importance. The word ‘pictures’ simultaneously expresses both of the mediums with which we work: film and photography. And though the two art forms are quite different in their approach and execution, either way you go, you are telling a story. With film you may have audio and twenty-four frames per second to tell that story and with photography you have only one single silent frame – either way, all you need is a clear strong message executed with creativity and skillful craftsmanship to move people. That’s where we come in.
